Are their any chemicals in your product?
No. Every ingredient I use is sourced locally, and plants are harvested myself with care and respect to our mother earth.
What oils do you use for your product?
In this product it is Grapeseed Oil for its absorbency properties, Coconut Oil for its natural antibacterial properties and Sunflower Oil for its calming and protective properties.
Where do you harvest your plants from?
I always harvest locally in Tamaki Makaurau, away from roads, as our plants absorb the fumes. Mostly in our forests and around or near beaches. Where the air is pure. All with permission from the owners or Iwi.
How have you learnt how to make your product?
My employment history is where I begin. Horticulturalist for 15+years, studying botanical properties in plants and their make up. Prior to that I studied as a Baker by trade. Learning what each ingredient is made up of and how it mixes with others.
I am currently sitting my Diploma, Rongoa Maori through Te Wananga o Aotearoa.
It has been a process to make, and it has taken time, research, comparisons of research collected.
Our culture is full of natural scientists and botanists. The korero through our stories of our natural remedies, narrates the path that is meant for me.
